Walking home from the store, I was suddenly met by a swirl of bubbles drifting on the passing breeze. Most of them journeyed onwards and upwards to dissipate into the sky, but a few followed me along the street for a little ways, traveling alongside in quiet company until they eventually met their fates on the pavement.

It cheered me up quite a bit.

Woke up to a tsunami warning siren this morning-- lots of places in the Pacific Rim got hit from an earthquake in Chile. I live pretty far inland and above sea level anyway, but fortunately by the sound of it Hawaii didn't get anything particularly large.
